The second international edition of Alcova is set to unfold at Miami’s historic River Inn, the city’s oldest hotel, nestled in the vibrant South River Drive Historic District in East Little Havana, just steps from the Miami River. Riding the wave of its successful debut in Miami, Alcova remains committed to transforming remarkable, historically rich spaces into dynamic platforms for cutting-edge contemporary design.

Dále Zine is thrilled to present a new exhibition by Gabino Azuela and Jackie Crespo of Can Can Press, titled “Break Glass in Case of Creative Crisis!” An exhibition that marks their artist debut in the U.S. We are also excited to have our friends @heladonegro and @miacarucci selecting the music during the opening party, this will be the night of the week!.

GAGOSIAN AND JEFFREY DEITCH: Austin Lee: Psychomachia in Miami
Austin Lee knows how to render human emotion. Through a unique process that has defined his career, Lee explores human psychology and emotions by integrating software technologies with traditional methods of art making to produce vibrant paintings, sculptures and video works. Psychomachia in Miami is an extension of the solo exhibition Lee presented in Los Angeles earlier this fall. The exhibition continues Jeffrey Deitch's history of presenting exhibitions and public art projects in the Miami Design District since 2003.

Lulu Sanchez Studio: Once an Ocean
Local Artist Lulu Sanchez opens her studio for an immersive experience celebrating her deep roots in the Miami Design District. Join for an evening of edible sculptures, live performance and historical art on loan. Lulu’s most recent work anchors this environment, culminating in a multi-media installation on collective memory and climate resilience.

No Vacancy
No Vacancy is a juried art competition that supports and celebrates mainly local artists, provokes critical discourse, and encourages the public to experience Miami Beach’s famed hotels as temporary art destinations in their own right. No Vacancy 2024 marks the program’s fifth edition presenting 12 artists creating site-specific works at 12 iconic Miami Beach hotels. The installations will be on view from November 14 through December 12, 2024.
