Ad Astra

A collaboration between Mana Contemporary and Pinta Art Fair Miami, Ad Astra(“Through hardship, to the stars”) features large-scale site-specific works inspired by real and imaginary spaces. Curated by Ysabel Pinyol Blasi, the project questions received notions of artistic success through a knowing embrace of triumphalism. The megalomaniacal, the visionary, and the grand rub up against the downright strange in this inquiry into the nature of human achievement.
